Studio AnnaMariaCornelia was asked to research what a futuristic identity, but also what a realistic interior of a library could look like. While collaborating closely with the city’s historians, each theme of the library was connected with a story or a legend of the city.
With this study as starting point, we looked at which contemporary furniture could visually support the stories. Our goal was to create an information centre where both young and old are involved: it ought to be a place where parents are able to tell stories to their children and where youngsters are inspired by this innovative storytelling place.
Encounter, knowledge and innovation were always in the picture during the three-month research and design process.
